SCARPETTA TO HOST ODETTE WINE DINNER
Fontainebleau’s Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series Continues Wednesday, February, 10th
Miami Beach, Fla. – Paying homage to Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s opening in 1954, Cellar 1954 Wine & Dinner Series pairs the world’s most prestigious wines and winemakers with the award-winning cuisine of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s signature restaurants. The 2016 season continues with a posh dinner on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Scarpetta featuring celebrated wine pairings from renowned Napa Valley winery, Odette Estate – presented by winemaker Jeff Owens. The 2016 series will continue on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at StripSteak by Michael Mina at 8 p.m. featuring pairings from Adobe Road Winery, located in California – hosted by owner Kevin Buckler and on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Scarpetta at 8 p.m. with Napa Valley winery, Opus One Winery – hosted by France Posener.
Diners will enjoy a decadent five-course menu prepared by Scarpetta’s new chef de cuisine Neil O’Connell, complemented by six different wines from Odette. Located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, Odette Estate sits on 45 acres of organic vineyards which makes for healthier soil, more biologically balanced and pest-resistant grapevines, and more natural and complex wines. The third addition to a sisterhood of wineries, Odette Wines is committed to solely producing full bodied Cabernet Sauvignons; while sister wines Cade and PlumpJack produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay.
Each of the five courses will be paired with a different varietal from the trio of wineries. Priced at $225 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, the luxurious evening will begin at 8:00 p.m. The menu, with pairings, follows:
